MAZIDRA LENTILS

2 cups of lentils
5 cups water
l small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon MacKay’s or other vegetarian chicken-style seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredients and cook till lentils are done. Serve on a bed of brown rice and chopped lettuce.

Yield: 4-3/4 cup. 150 calories per half-cup serving.
